This purifier works with a permanent filter system. The permanent filter cleans in just minutes with detergent and water; simply rinse, let dry and re-insert. You can also add fragrance pack to the unit. An indicator light tells you when the filter needs cleaning. The white plastic top of the unit has yellowed a bit from sunlight shining on it as shown in photo.

Powers on runs great, fan blows nice. This air purifier is in overall great condition with only a few minor imperfections on the exterior finish. It has been tested on all three fan speeds and has left on for multiple hours with no issues. Features a built in Ionizer. Filter is in overall decent shape and has been cleaned.
